Client Policies
These policies protect your time, your therapist’s time, and the experience of every client.
Cancellation Policy
We respectfully ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment changes or cancellation requests. When an appointment is canceled or missed without 24 hours’ notice, we are often unable to offer that time to another client.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in the deposit being forfeited. If a client does not arrive and does not call, the deposit will be forfeited and the card on file will be charged the full price of the scheduled service. If the appointment was booked as part of a package, the scheduled service will be deducted from the remaining package sessions.
We reserve the right to require a credit card on file when booking future appointments so that applicable late cancellation or missed appointment fees may be charged.
Illness, Emergencies, and Weather
We understand that emergencies arise and illness can occur unexpectedly. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within the 24 hours before your appointment, please cancel or reschedule your session.
Inclement weather may also require a late cancellation. We will provide as much notice as possible if we must close or cancel because of weather, and we ask that you do the same. Please do not risk your safety to attend an appointment. Fees related to emergencies, illness, or inclement weather are considered individually.
Late Arrival Policy
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment to complete any required paperwork and discuss intake questions with your therapist. If you expect to be late, please call so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Appointment times are reserved for each client. Arriving after your scheduled start time may shorten your service so the following appointment can begin on time. The full service fee will still be charged, and a full package session will be redeemed, even when a session is shortened because of late arrival.
In return, we will do our best to begin on time. If we cause a delayed start, we will add time to your session when possible or adjust the service charge appropriately.
Inappropriate Behavior Policy
Massage therapy is provided for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage. Any inappropriate insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, behavior, or request will result in the immediate termination of the session and refusal of future services.
The full service fee will be charged regardless of how long the session lasted. Any active package may be canceled without transfer or refund. Depending on the behavior, a report may also be filed with local authorities.
Clients and therapists are expected to treat one another with respect and dignity. A client may ask the therapist to stop the massage at any time. The therapist may also end the session whenever the therapist feels uncomfortable or unsafe.
